Winter Break Starts!

This Sunday, I was in a 5 feet radius from Tyler the Creator!!! EXCITEMENT

I was a very happy camper.

Tyler, Taco, and Jasper came to Terminal 5 on the 21st! This was actually my third concert experience (the last one being Kyary's back in 2013). As expected, the crowd went crazy for Tyler. Everyone was sweating, jumping, smoking (yes, smoking). I was the awkward girl in wedges (woops) but I was so excited when he came out. By the time we left the venue, my hair went straight again (I had it curled before the concert). It was crazy! I loved it. I'm definitely going to see him again the next time he has a show in either LA or NYC.

Before we left for Terminal 5, my friend bought me lunch at Ippudo. Mmm.

The next day, I headed to NYC once again. One of the places we decided to visit was the Line Pop Up store in NYC. Unfortunately, it's not a permanent shop. It will be closed before 12/31, so visit the store as soon as possible. Don't miss your chance!

My weekend was mostly spent in NYC, but it was a weekend well spent! Winter break is an entire month (super long compared to high school's winter break) so I'm determined to squeeze in a lot of events and activities. I'm glad that I'm free to do what I couldn't do during the fall college semester. 

A Introductory Guide to Street Fashion

There are so many fashion styles out there. Street fashion is one that really pops out. Street fashion seems to be the trend starter. It ranges from outfits that consist of bright, vivid colors to outfits that consist of monochrome colors. Here are some visual examples:

These individuals can be seen sporting quirky and unique outfits. I am head over heels over street fashion because it's so pleasing to look at.

NYC Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Concert

Guess who I saw perform last night?!

Kyary Pamyu Pamyuuuuuuu!♥ ♥ ♥ Can you can tell how much I adore this qt pie?!
When I first saw PonPonPon, my first reaction was 'what the heck this girl is cute but what the heck'. After watching it a few times more, I started to hum PonPonPon on an impulse. The song got super catchy so I decided to put PonPonPon as my ringtone... and I eventually fell in love with her fashion, music, and her super bubbly personality. She is really beyond cute!
So seeing her in NYC yesterday was like a dream. I'm super glad she decided to have a world tour!
I heard Yasutaka Nakata (from Capsule/producer for Perfume and Kyary) and Sebastian Masuda (6% DOKI DOKI) was also in NYC, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see them ;; 

The line was super looong and it took us a while to get into the venue. But we had so much fun looking at all the unique outfits everyone on the line was wearing! Everyone was decked out in Harajuku / Japanese Street fashion! It was pretty great.

We entered the Best Buy theater at around 7:20PM and sat near the back because everyone else was in the front and they were too tall. We still had a good view (✿´◡`✿)

Woooooo it's Kyaaary!♡♡ Her first outfit was her 'Furisodeshon' dress and aah we started to scream when she came out to the stage. The whole entire time, I was asking myself "IS THIS REALLY KYARY" or "AM I DREAMING" It was awesome seeing Kyary in the flesh (✿◠‿◠) The back dancers were really energetic and in sync too!

A little later, Pamyurin the bunny came out and did a little dance. The bunny has little red dots as nipples and a heart that says (KPP) on its' butt! Supposedly Kyary draws Pamyurin in her signature. Cute! After seeing Pamyurin dance, I was tempted to buy Pamyurin merchandise online eheheh (Although I have to cut down on online shopping)

Kyary's English was adorable! Throughout the performance, she would ask the audience, "Enjoy desuka?!" And between the songs she would explain the songs and the meanings behind them! She told the audience about her time in New York and what she did before she entered the Best Buy theater. She told us she went to watch the Blue Man group perform! And she added "they were very blue". So cute aaah

I liked this outfit a lot (●´∀｀●)

She ended with 'Tsukema Tsukeru' (one of my favorite songs) and the show ended there /cry I really hope I can see her again when I visit Japan!
We left the Best Buy theater at around 9:30 and we took pictures of people! (We asked, of course!) I was able to take only one because my friend decided to take the rest of the pictures!

The concert was a success! ♪ I hope Kyary is getting some rest before she goes to Singapore to perform. Apparently she performed in LA two days before the show in NYC, so it must've been very busy for her. It was a great experience for us too. Singing along to her songs were so much fun! ♪
I'm looking forward to Invader Invader's release soon in May! She performed it and Yasutaka added dubstep to it (it was good!)

Now I can cross out 'See Kyary perform' on my bucket list~(　´,_ゝ｀ )

✿Welcome Spring!✿

Okokokok it's been months since I last updated this blog. I actually moved blogs for a while, but suddenly I made the decision to move back to blogger. Why? I'm not too sure ;; I guess I'll update that blog as well... (I'm pretty indecisive sigh)
This blog post is going to be a short one because I'm a little short on time right now. I have SAT classes later and I'm just super busy this Friday. Tomorrow, however, will be super exciting! (人´ω｀)☆ I'm going to see Kyary in NYC~~ I'm so excited ok aaaaah it's going to be so much fun WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AAAH

Anyway, I bought new eyeliner yesterday because I lost my Nature Republic one.

I like it so far! You can easily make wings and it just glides and ahkaghda it's great
However, it's not long lasting ;; I had this on for 6 hours and when I came back home, I had to reapply it. (΄・◞౪◟・);;
UPDATE: I suggest you guys don't buy eyeliner from Nature Republic because it's just terrible. After 2 weeks of use, it ran out. Good thing I lost it lolol


The return of the camwhore

 

I had fun camhoaring with my new wig on yesterday though it's really soft but I had to cut a lot of hair off because it was so long ;; It's actually a dark lavender color, but some of the filters made it look as if the wig was gray.
I'm also wearing my Dom Sebastian shirt that came with my jumper. It is super cute!!

Happy Lunar New Year

How was your New Year?

I had the pleasure of eating sashimi at a restaurant near my town. My parents came home a little late, but we had to time eat! The sashimi was extremely fresh and tasty, and the mood in the restaurant was so energetic. (●´∀｀●)  The workers were all in high spirits and the place was packed. It was really great.

I did receive money hurhur and I'm gonna save it up for the future (though I'll probably end up spending it all on useless crap eheh) (´ﾉω･｀*)

For those who didn't know, we had a snowstorm (2/7 - 2/9) and the snow was ridiculous! 6-8 inches, I think? Take a look at this!

So I had Friday off from school because of the extreme conditions. I was pretty productive that day~ I cleaned my room and organized my bookshelf. But I didn't get my work done sigh so I guess I was semi-productive. It felt refreshing to see a nice, organized room again, so I decided to download Tera (lolwdf dis girl craycray) And I actually kinda regret it now, seeing how it consumed most of my weekend (including sleeping hours) So I ended up going to sleep at 6AM trying to level up my character. I think the graphics distracted me. The graphics are way too good!  (*´・ｖ・)
 

✿ TFS I Love Pure Color : Juicy Peach Review ✿

My friend recently came back from Korea and bought me a few things! ♪♬ She shopped at 'The Face Shop' and one of the items she got me was 'I Love Pure Color LJN10 Juicy Peach'.

 

It's a lip gloss that I enjoy using. It really lives up to its name~ When you put it on, it gives off that pure vibe. I'm not too sure about the price, but I think you can find it online! Usually, The Face Shop is affordable for teenagers, so I doubt price will be a problem. It's 4.5g / 0.15 oz in a tube, so it'll last a long time. This is how it looks on me (with lip concealer on outer lips):

It's great! I barely wear lip gloss to be honest, but this one really made my lips porcelain-like. It'll really look stunning with a peach colored blush or an orange blush. I would apply this along with my Dolly Wink Carrot Orange blush~ 

There's nothing I dislike about this product.  ꒰●´3｀꒱~♪ The color is really lovely and I'm in love~

I think I'll buy some more of these!

HAPPY✿NEW✿YEAR

Well, technically it's New Year's Eve but it's coming soon! (ര௰ര) It's 6:23PM right now, so thats a good 5 hours and 37 minutes left till 2013 ~ But to be completely honest, I really don't care. It's the food that excites me (ㆁ × ㆁ);;;

Do you guys want to see my New Year's resolution? I'm gonna try my best to make it work ;A;
- Become.. neater?
- Save up a lot of money ~
- Aim for Kumicky's model figure (wheeew)
- Eat lots and lots of sweets ♡ (this on conflicts with 'Aim for Kumicky's model figure orz)
- Over 2100 on SATs .... (..⺤L⺤..) whyaminotincanada

That's it ~ I reeeaaaally reallly want to stick to this but I'm afraid I'll be lazy again ... Last year's resolution was a lot similar to this one... but hopefully I can do it!(?)  I just need to be motivated.
But for now.... I'm a mess. But that will change in 2013!~ AahahhahahAHAh

Yup. I have become lazy during the break, and this is the final result (´-﹏-`；)
Oh but today I finished 'Kamisama Hajimemashita'~   This show got me back into anime, and asahgdiahgiedah I'm in looooove ✿ This is probably the reason why my room got so messy... But who can resist the heart throbbing love between two individuals?! And look at him.

 

Anyway, the anime is super cute. I'll probably squeeze in 'K' after I finish celebrating New Year's.  (´;◞౪◟;) And do my homework... (|||❛︵❛.) Yucky.
